Vascular Surgery

MidHudson Regional vascular surgeons specialize in treatment of diseases and conditions of the circulatory system, specifically arteries and veins.

The department of vascular surgery at MidHudson Regional Hospital, part of the Westchester Medical Center Heart and Vascular Institute, offers the most current advancements in vascular surgical techniques. Utilizing minimally invasive technology, our surgeons successfully perform repairs and reconstructions on some of the most delicate structures in the human body.

MidHudson Regional vascular surgeons are fellowship trained and board certified in general and vascular surgery, and are proficient in the use of minimally invasive endovascular procedures for identifying and diagnosing vascular conditions. Much advancement has been made recently in the field of vascular surgery and our faculty research is recognized nationally and internationally for their contributions to innovation in vascular research and treatment. Our section continues to actively research new techniques and best practices for the treatment and management of conditions such as high-risk aneurysms, thickening of the carotid artery, renal tumors, ischemia, vascular trauma and varicose veins.
